Schools Undermining Parents with Transgender Ideology

One of the founders of The Compassion Coalition, Maria Keffler shares important insights about how transgender activists are working to undermine parents by introducing children as young as kindergarten to the idea that someone can be born in the wrong body. Maria's co-founded the Arlington Parent Coalition in order to share resources with parents, shed light on how transgender activists are in indoctrinating children in public schools, and undermining childrens' relationships with their parents.

Mother Loses Children to Transgender Ideology

Lynn Meagher is one of the founders of The Compassion Coalition. The mother of children who adopted transgender identities. Lynn's children have rejected her and cut off all contact. Lynn refused to be manipulated into accepting the dictates of the transgender ideology adopted by her children which insists that if someone doesn't 100% accept a transgender identity, that person is hateful and abusive. Lynn helps other parents who are struggling with the lose of their children to this harmful and manipulative ideology. Lynn and I are both founding members of The Compassion Coalition. The Compassion Coalition calls for Moratorium on “Sex-Change” Operations, and Clarification on Therapy Bans
Erin Brewer, Miriam Ben-Shalom, Becky Gerritson, Lynn Meagher and Maria Keffler, founders of The Compassion Coalition, today called on the nation’s governors to halt what’s called “gender reassignment surgery” during the Coronavirus crisis.
The Compassion Coalition says the government has called for a moratorium on non-essential procedures to conserve medical resources. Sex-change operations clearly fall within this category. No one will be harmed by a delay here and it will give those contemplating such surgeries more time to contemplate what could be a life-altering event that they’ll later come to regret.
Trans activists have warned that some of the gender-confused will commit suicide if their operation is delayed. In a well researched study called this argument a red herring. “One study shows that those who’ve undergone a ‘sex-change’ operation are nearly 20 times more likely to commit suicide than the general population.” (See below for link.)
A moratorium would help us to come to terms with the nature of gender- reassignment surgery. After the operation, patients have the same sex that they did before. These procedures change physical appearance, not DNA. Those who were born male or female will remain so till the end of their days, regardless of what they do to their bodies.
The answer to gender confusion is compassionate counseling (talk therapy), not facilitating a fraud. We are calling on governors to lift bans on such therapy, where they exist. These bans on so-called “conversion therapy” are often so broad that therapists fear just talking to gender-confused clients about their

thoughts, feelings, and beliefs related to their gender identity and require them to affirm a client’s gender confusion.
