Venice Allan shares efforts to stand for women. We talk about Keira Bell's case against Tavistock and various efforts Venice has been involved with to peak trans the UK.
The Compassion Coalition is a non-partisan national group for those fighting to ban invasive, harmful, unproven medical interventions for gender confused children. Our goal is to support efforts around the nation and around the world to stop the medical abuse of children who identify as transgender.
Founders: Erin Brewer, Becky Gerritson, Miriam Ben-Shalom, Maria Keffler and Lynn Meagher
Erin was a trans kid. Thankfully, she had therapists who helped her first manage and then resolve her gender confusion. Erin started speaking about her history after Equality Utah proposed legislation that would ban the very type of therapy that helped her overcome her transgender identity. Erin grew up in Salt Lake City and earned a B.S. from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. She has a Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Learning Science from Utah State University.
Maria is a former middle- and high-school teacher and one of the co-founders of the Arlington Parent Coalition (APC) in Arlington, VA. She and the APC team work to hold the public school system accountable to ALL parents, as well as to support parents toward keeping their children safe in public school. Maria has three children and holds a master of science degree in educational psychology. She writes and speaks on the topics of education, school policy on sex & gender, and parents' rights in education.
Miriam is a long-time activist on behalf of the LGB community, a teacher of 37 years at both the high school and college levels, and a Vietnam Era veteran. She is the co-founder of Hands Across The Aisle Women in Coalition, a coalition of conservative and progressive women who work to fight trans ideology and its impact on society as well as the founder of several other organizations. She holds a BA cum laude in Hebrew Studies and English and a Master’s Degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. A forthright and blunt woman, she is a published author and well known nationally and internationally for challenging the U.S. Army’s former ban on Gays in the military and for her work on challenging transgenderism and the erasure of women.
Lynn works as an advocate for parents of Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD) kids and as a spokesperson for the Kelsey Coalition. She feels honored to work with many gifted and talented women through the Hands Across the Aisle coalition. Her story was told by the Christian Post titled, “I’ve lost two kids to the trans cult, I want them back: An anguished mom shares her journey,” by Brandon Showalter.
Lynn has recently become involved in activism against Drag Queen Story Hours at public libraries and helped to start Ask Moms on Facebook to inform and equip ordinary people everywhere to stand against the sexualization of children. She worked as a nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care for 28 years. She enjoys reading, writing, painting, knitting, and time with friends and her two cats, Kallie and Lulu.
